"Bladeless LASIK": IntraLase
Intralase is available as a premium extension of the LASIK procedure. Instead of the mechanical micro keratome ("blade") method of creating the "flap," a femtosecond laser instrument is used. The remainder of the procedure is basically the same as for the micro keratome LASIK. You should discuss this option with Dr. Kim.
