Dr. Wong was born in San Francisco and was raised in the Bay Area.  She received her undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley.  Her internship training included rotations at the Palo Alto Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Oakland Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and the UCSF Beckman Vision Center.  She is also TPA-certified.

Dr. Wong joined MarinEyes in 2002.  She is married and has one son.  In her spare time, she enjoys biking, tennis and playing the piano.

Dr. Wanon was born in Israel and raised in Montreal, Canada. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley in 2007. Prior to his training in the U.S., Dr Wanon completed a University Diploma in Optometry and Contact lens Science at South Paris University, as well as a degree in Optics and Optometric Technology at Higher School of Optics of Paris in France.  Dr. Wanon also completed a Masters degree in Biochemistry at the University of Montreal and his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Wanon joined MarinEyes in 2007. He is TPA- certified. He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to classical music, and is always ready for a hockey or football game.

Gareth Valles, O.D.

Dr. Valles was born in Bombay, India and was raised in Montreal, Canada.  He received his Optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley, and undergraduate Honors Biology degree from Loyola College in Montreal.

Dr. Valles joined MarinEyes in 1997.  He lives in Yountville in the Napa Valley.  Avid interests include politics, the “great outdoors,” fine wine, jazz, yoga and the opera.
